1. Who we are
GENOPOOL (genopool.com and play.genopool.com) is operated by One Click Everything SAS, 9 rue des Colonnes, 75009 Paris, France (the "operator", "we"). You can reach us at privacy@genopool.com.
2. What GENOPOOL is
GENOPOOL is a browser game in which players capture, breed and race virtual creatures ("specimens"). Specimens kept by a player are recorded as digital collectibles (Metaplex Core assets) on the Solana blockchain, with their genome stored in public on-chain attributes.
The racing engine is deterministic and open-source. Hourly map seeds and wild genomes are published on-chain; race outcomes are decided by player skill on those published seeds, and any race can be re-simulated and verified by anyone.
3. Eligibility
The free parts of the service are open to everyone. Any feature involving a payment (caging, breeding, entry tickets, Genesis packs, marketplace) is restricted to adults (18+) with full legal capacity, in jurisdictions where such use is lawful. You are responsible for compliance with your local laws.
4. Payments: crypto only, no custody
All payments are made in USDC (SPL) on Solana, directly from your wallet to on-chain programs or program-derived accounts. The operator never holds your funds and provides no fiat on-ramp. Prices are always displayed before payment; nothing random is ever sold.
Blockchain transactions are irreversible. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, keys and devices, and for verifying transaction details before signing. Network fees are set by the Solana network, not by us.
5. Digital collectibles
When you cage a specimen you receive a digital collectible recorded on Solana. You own that asset: you may hold it, use it in the game, or transfer it on the marketplace. Ownership of the asset does not transfer any intellectual-property rights in the game, its art, code or trademarks, which remain with the operator and its licensors.
Specimens are game items collected and used for play. They are not a currency, a security, a share of any venture, or a promise of profit, and we make no representation about any market value. Account grades and competitive access are personal and are never sold or transferred with an asset.
6. Racing and prizes: a contest of skill
Entry into a race bracket costs a known ticket, on a map published before you commit. Prize pools are funded by player entry tickets minus a posted organiser fee, and are paid by placement. Outcomes are determined by deterministic simulation of player inputs. The operator never takes a side, never bets against players, and sells no chance of any kind.
The first capture and the first race are free, with no stake and no prize. Free play never requires a payment.
7. Genesis packs
Genesis founder packs contain only items that are listed before payment: numbered cage rights, a founder cosmetic, invitation codes and a temporary early-access window. Genesis specimens are drawn from the same genome distribution as the wild: founders are first, never favoured. A free public opening is announced and dated from the pre-sale; early access is a timing privilege, never a permanent wall.
8. Marketplace
The marketplace is player-to-player. Assets listed for sale move into a program escrow that only the seller can revoke; payment and transfer settle in one atomic, buyer-signed transaction. A 5% royalty is enforced at the asset level on every transfer. The operator never buys or sells specimens and never sets their prices.
9. Fair play
Race times are certified by server re-simulation of the submitted inputs. Cheating, botting, exploiting bugs, multi-accounting to farm free resources, or interfering with the service may result in disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, and suspension or termination of access. On-chain assets remain yours; access to the service does not.
10. Availability and disclaimers
The service is provided "as is", in active development, without warranty of uninterrupted availability. We may modify game rules, balancing and features; balancing changes are versioned and never alter past certified results. We are not responsible for the Solana network, wallet software, or other third-party services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator's aggregate liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid to the operator in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under French law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on the site with a reasonable notice period. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris, France, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute-resolution platform.
